Joseph Smith Jr. and his brother Hyrum Smith riding their horses from Nauvoo to Carthage, Illinois.
This bronze equestrian monument is located in Nauvoo, Illinois.

Joseph Smith's black horse was named Charlie and had a white star on his forehead.  Hyrum Smith's white horse was named Sam.
